rackspot has born in WebhostingDay 09

The brand Rackspot was launched in the WebhostingDay 09 edition, the larger hosting event organized in the old continent. The 5th edition of the WHD took place at Phantasialand in Bruehl, near Cologne - Germany, between 18 and March 20 of 2009.

During the three event days the most respected hosting professionals met to discuss the news and concerns that are and will affect the market, exchanging experiences and providing innovative solutions that will for sure contribute to the Web evolution in the upcoming years.

Rackspot was Gold Partner of the WHD 09 and presented new dedicated servers and colocation services for the European market. As an evangelist in the implementation of IPv6 protocol in Portugal, rackspot was also invited to present their dual-stack network project, implemented in Portugal since 2004. The presentation gathered a massive audience and turned up to be one of the highest point of the event.
